Maps: Boundary Options

This option permits you to specify the geographic boundaries to display, their color, pattern and width. The options available to select depend on the zoom level selected.

If you select the Automatically select Boundary based on selected Geography check box then the application enables the appropriate boundary or boundaries based on the geography defined on the Data Settings tab and the zoom level selected.

Define your boundaries

  1. Select the appropriate Geography check box for the boundary you want to display i.e., State, DMA, etc.

  • From the Uploaded Geography window select the geography or geographies for which you want to show borders.

  • Click Apply.

  1. To change the Geography Boundary color, click the color swatch to bring up the Color Selection window.

  • To define a color not on the palette or to modify the opacity of the selected color click Advanced...

  • In the text field enter the desired Hex Color Value.

  • To Modify Opacity slide the control bar or enter the percent value. An Opacity value of 0 will make the color transparent.

  1. Click Apply.

  2. Click to close the Color Palette window.

  3. Select either solid line, dots, dashed, or line dot for the line style.

  4. Select either small, medium, or large for the boundary thickness.

  5. Click Update Map.
