Print and Export Maps
For best printing results, use the GIS built-in printing feature, as described below.
Print/Export the Map

On the submenu click the Print/Export Map icon.

Select one of the following Print Format options:

Portable Document Format (PDF): Recommended for printed material.

Image (PNG): Creates an image file of type png. This format is recommended for media presentations such as Microsoft PowerPoint.

Separated Components (ZIP): Creates a compressed file (ZIP) that contains an image file of the map and a separate image file of the legend, allowing you full control of the layout of the data in your reports or presentations.

(Optional) Specify the Main Title and Sub-Titles.

The optional Crop Map View to Fit Print Page trims the current map view to optimize the usage of the space available on the page.

Click the Export button.

You will be prompted to Open or Save the File.
NOTE: If you don’t see the Open or Save the File dialog box, there is strong possibility that your pop-up blocker is blocking the downloading of the generated file. To override this, press and hold the Ctrl key then click the Export button again. Do not let go of the Ctrl key until you get the Open or Save the File dialog box.

Select the Open button to:

View the PDF file in Adobe Acrobat Reader and to print the generated export file of the map.

View the PNG file in an image editor application and to print the generated export file of the map

Select Save and name the file accordingly.
