Retail Target: Map Context Menu
Additional useful map functions are provided via the Map Context menu.
On the map, right click to access the context menu and select from any of the following options (notice pin displays to designate area of interest):
Function | Description |

Previous View | Restores map view to previous zoom & center. Note: this may cause changes to the geography level selected & available indicators |
Zoom In |
Zooms in one level. Note: this may cause changes to the geography level selected & available indicators. |
Zoom Out |
Zooms out one level. Note: this may cause changes to the geography level selected & available indicators. |
Starting Map | Sets your current view to the default view, i.e., zoom & center, that loads when you access Marketscapeā¢ or Retail Target. |
Map Information |
Displays data for the currently selected indicator for the geography that is located where pin displays. In Marketscape, an infographic may also be generated. In Retail Target, Site and Point of Interest information may also be obtained. Media details provided for contours plotted on the map such as owner affiliate, DMA rank, subscriptions, and pay units. |
Select Label |
This option is used in conjunction with Drop Label when you want to move a label on the map. This option displays all labels in proximity. Note: Move geographical labels with care as that movement of geographic labels is permanent and will remain at the new location until moved again. |
Drop Label | This option is used in conjunction with Select Label when you want to move a label on the map. |
Select Site |
This option is used in conjunction with Drop Site when you want to move a site on the Retail Target map. See Move Site Marker for details. Note: Movement of site marker is permanent and will retain the new location until moved again. |
Drop Site | This option is used in conjunction with Select Site when you want to move a site on the Retail Target map. |
Delete Freeform | Delete previous free-form created. See Freeforms for details. |
