Actual Consumption Report

The Actual Consumption report compares imported customer consumption counts to a base of Claritas households and analyzes the geographic concentration of the imported data relative to the total households that reside there. Consumption profiles show how often or how much a segment uses a selected product or service.

You can use the Actual Consumption report to:

  • Identify the level of consumption in analysis areas where your customers reside by selecting one or more consumption geosummaries.
  • View each analysis area’s actual consumption data for a single profile (household counts, consumption frequency, market share, and calculations).
  • Compare the frequency with which each analysis area consumes different products.
  • Apply Sort and Subtotal options to columns in the report.
  • Create an analysis area based on consumption data for the selected profile. You can use the profiled analysis area for further research and reporting.
