Generate a List Output

On the Job Detailsscreen, specify your preferred format and name for your output. You can also limit the number of records to include in your output.

After verifying your selections, click Submit Job.

You can view the output generation status and the output file on the My Jobs screen.

Analysis Areas, Using Locations

  1. Select your preferred output format. The options are:
    • CSV File - To generate an output with commas as delimiters or separators
    • Excel File - To generate an output in Microsoft® Excel® format
    • Delimited Text File - To generate an output with tab or other symbols as delimiters or separators
  1. (Optional) To specify a number of records to include in the output, click the OFF button next to Do you want to limit the number of records in the output? to set it to ON. Additional options appear.

  1. (Optional) To specify a number of records, select the Select a random number of records option and then, when a text box appears next to it, type your preferred number.

    To include only specific records based on their position in the list, select the Select every nth record option and then, when a text box appears next to it, type a number that indicates your preferred position of the record. For example, if you want to include every tenth record in the list, type 10.

  2. (Optional) To determine the number of records that satisfy your specified condition and output definition, click Calculate. The detected number of business records in your specified analysis area appears in the Records: text box.
  3. In the text box next to Name of your Business List, type a name for your list output.
  4. Review your selections and then click Submit Job. A message box appears indicating that the job has been submitted.
  5. Click OK to close the message box, and then select one from the following options:
    • My Jobs - Lets you view the My Jobs screen that lists all jobs that you submitted and the status of each
    • Business List - Lets you return to the Business List module to create another Business List
    • Home - Lets you return to the Home screen
