Marketscape™: Display Points of Interest

Upload a file containing addresses or latitude/longitude coordinates of your points of interests and these will be displayed as points on the map.

  1. Click the Map Settings tab, expand Points Display and click Upload Display Points.

  2. Click Browse and select the file that contains the site addresses you want to analyze.

  3. Click Next.

  4. After you’ve uploaded the file, the File Definition screen displays showing a preview of the first few rows of the file.

  • For comma delimited files this screen allows you to define the delimiter used.

  • For Microsoft Excel files this screen allows you to select the sheet that contains the data to upload.

  1. If the first row of your file contains column headings, select the First Row Contains Field Names check box.

  2. Click Next.

  3. Map the file column headings to the appropriate system fields. Select the Auto Map Import Fields check box to have the system automatically attempt to map file data to system fields.

    NOTE:  Always verify any automatic mapping performed by the system and make any required corrections.

  4. Click Next.

  5. The Display Point Mapping screen displays. These options are optional and not required. Click Next.

  6. The Point Data screen displays. These options are optional and not required. Click Next.

  7. A File Summary screen displays.

  8. Modify the Project name, if needed, and confirm all mappings.

  9. If all fields are mapped correctly click Process.
