Segment Distribution Report
The Segment Distribution report shows the geographic distribution of each segment in a selected segmentation system. The report calculates percentage compositions, penetration compositions and indexes for each analysis area, using the base you select.
The report includes detail level options so you can add and arrange columns for aggregate and/or component statistics as needed. In addition, you can include full descriptions for each segment.
You can use the Segment Distribution Report to:
- Identify the segments in each analysis area.
- Compare the distribution of selected segments in one or more analysis areas.
- View each analysis area's data by segment to identify and create targets.
- View statistics for different analysis areas profiles side-by-side.
- Rank the penetration for each segment in one or more analysis areas.
- Create an analysis area or a target group for selected segments. You can use the new items for further research and reporting.
To generate the Segment Distribution report, you need to perform the following:
- Select a segmentation system, a projection data set, and a base analysis type.
- Specify an analysis area, the level of detail, and a sorting method and direction.
- Specify a report output type, delivery method, and name.
