Select a Business List Type and an Analysis Area

On the Business List Type screen, select the Business List Type that you want to create and your analysis area. You can also create a filter to refine your output.

After verifying your selections, click Next to proceed.

Business List Report, Using a Filter Walkthrough

  1. Click the Business List type that you want to create. The options are:
    • Basic Analytical List: A list containing data elements such as company name, number, address, city, state, ZIP Code, ZIP+4, primary and secondary SIC/NAICS codes and descriptions, sales volume, and latitude/longitude coordinates.     • Advanced Analytical List: A list containing data elements included in the Basic Analytical List, plus secondary company information and data, employee derivation flag, credit card rating code, sales volume, and latitude/longitude coordinates.     • Complete Analytical List: A list containing all business variables except contact data elements (name, title, phone, fax number, etc.) and ethnicity variables. Click this link to view a preview of a Complete Analytical List output.
    • Prospecting: Complete: A complete list of variables, including firmographics data. Click this link to view a preview of a Prospecting: Complete List output.
    • Prospecting: Basic: A list containing mostly address information (no subsidiary, ultimate parent, match level, fax, CBSA, and FIPS data). Click this link to view a preview of a Prospecting: Basic List output.
  1. Select your analysis area by either navigating to and selecting the desired area in the geography selection box, or typing the geography name in the Search text box and clicking the Search button.
  2. (Optional) By default, the Do you want to filter your Business List? field is set to ON. To disable the filter creation feature, click the ON button to set it to OFF.
  3. Click Next to proceed.
